Our Services

01.

The first step for every patient is to complete an intake assessment.

Dr. Wilk will ask you questions about your sleep concerns to identify which sleep diagnosis you meet criteria for and the best treatment options for your specific needs. At the end of the session, Dr. Wilk will review the treatment options with you to allow you to make the best decision for your care.

At times, some sleep concerns require a medical evaluation (i.e. Obstructive Sleep Apnea). In those cases, Dr. Wilk will recommend you to seek an evaluation at medical sleep clinic for an assessment.

02.

For individuals suffering with insomnia, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is the gold standard therapy to improve you sleep. This therapy takes 4-10 sessions depending on the complexity of the factors maintaining your sleep problem.

03.

For individuals suffering with trauma related nightmares that are reoccurring, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Nightmares (CBT-N) can be effective at reducing the frequency and severity of nightmares. This therapy typically takes 6 sessions to complete.

04.

For some people with sleep apnea, having to wear a CPAP mask while sleeping can be challenging. Dr. Wilk can teach you techniques to help you have an easier time tolerating the CPAP mask on your face. These techniques include systematic desensitization, conditioning, and relaxation. This process typically take 1-5 sessions to complete.
